Impact Communication Specialist

Blink is an international single-family office of impact investment and technology professionals. Blink invests in highly impactful investment funds while at the same time developing new foundations and initiatives to support the founding family’s impact ambition. Blink has offices in Amsterdam (HQ), Copenhagen, Barcelona and in the San Francisco area. Blink’s investment scope is global, with a focus on East Africa and Central America.

To highlight all our impact initiatives and achievements, we are looking for a Communication professional to help us further develop our communication plans. All our efforts contribute to our mission; ‘Challenging the existing for a brighter future’ and we are therefore looking for a candidate that is driven to have a positive impact on people and the planet.

As our Impact Communication Specialist, you will be responsible for the overall communication of all impact results across the various projects of our organisation by using various channels; social media, website, newsletter internal/external. You will spearhead communication opportunities and focus on sparking behavioural change.

Our organisation would benefit from a hands-on candidate with a background in startup enterprises. The ideal candidate can oversee various stakeholders on multiple levels while keeping track of timelines and deliverables. Personal interest or background related to technology would be considered an asset due to the nature of many of our projects. You will be working from Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Main reponsibilities

  • Develop communication plan and responsible for the execution of all activities
  • Optimising user journeys across channels (SoMe, websites & newsletter)
  • Drive the content production based on family office initiatives
  • Ensuring an aligned and clear brand messaging across touch points
  • Organise events related to relevant topics
  • Explore partnership opportunities with various stakeholders
  • Work together with Impact measurement team to determine opportunities

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as a communication specialist; (5-7 years) in a similar role
  • Excellent English speaker
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Solid and hands-on experience with Social Media channels
  • Experience with content production and event management
  • Flexible and an appetite for an entrepreneurial environment with an appreciation for varied workplace cultures
  • A strong affinity for working for a charitable organisation and the personal ambition to make an impact

What we offer

We offer an interesting position in a dynamic international environment. The role will be based in Amsterdam with a flexible hybrid structure for 28-36 hours per week. Interested?
