Venture philanthropy portfolio manager

Who are we?

Social Capital Foundation (SCF) is the philanthropic branch of Blink CV, an international single-family office that is focused on impact. SCF is running different grant and concessional funding based initiatives and focuses their impact on the following mission: ‘Reducing inequality through entrepreneurship in a greener world.’ The geographical focus is primarily Sub-Saharan Africa, and Latin America, with some initiatives in other developed and developing countries.

SCF works under a venture philanthropy model where grants and concessional investments are used with the intention to maximise impact. SCF's primary impact goal is to improve income, jobs, skills and agency of underserved populations, mainly low income women and youth in developing countries. SCF also works partly in a variety of sectors and topics.

SCF works with best in class partner organisations (NGO, social businesses, funds, academia) that aim to achieve large scale impact by replicating or scaling evidence-based programs in several regions. In addition, SCF works with impact investing partners in opportunities whereby grants or philanthropic-blended investments can be effective to deliver greater impact. SCF also undertakes other multiple philanthropic initiatives that aim to extend grants and support to other organisations that are connected with themes and interests of the overall family office mission: ‘Challenging the existing for a brighter future’.
